KARDASHIAN BEAUTY: MY THOUGHTS ON THEIR NEW HAIR RANGE

Love them or sick of hearing about them, you can't deny the Kardashian sisters have some of the shiniest hair in the business, so I've been testing out their new styling range to see if the results are as impressive on me.
Here's what I thought...

STYLER 1: Blow Dry Cream, £9.61
THE VERDICT: 6/10
I'm happy it's a cream because I think mousses are quite dated now. No one wants that 'crispy' look anymore - it's all about softness.
And softness it brings. My hair felt really smooth, which is probably because of the black seed oil (more on this in a minute), but it did weigh it down a little. I have fine hair and if it were thicker, this would be a dream. I could get away with putting a tiny bit on but I'd still rather use a spray.

STYLER 2 & 3: Take 2 Dry Shampoo & Large Round Brush, £10.35 & £8.86

THE VERDICT: 8/10
Finally, a dry shampoo that isn't hideously powdery and chalky. This comes out as an invisible spray, so you don't have to try and brush out any white from your roots. It smelled really nice, like a hair perfume, which I find really important in anything I'm using on my hair - I want it to smell good, and not of chemicals. The brush is good, too. It's quite chunky so I wouldn't recommend it if you're just getting to grips with blow-drying your hair - maybe go for the medium size. Again, my hair was probably a bit fine to be needing a giant brush like this, but it did the job. I love the dry shampoo, though.

STYLER 4: Take 2 Dry Conditioner, £10.35
THE VERDICT: 9/10
Now THIS I like. I didn't try it on damp hair, and you can - I used it after I'd finished drying, but before using my straighteners. It just made all my (slightllyyy broken) ends look smoothed and silky. I only used it on mid-lengths and down because my roots get greasy quickly, and it was exactly what my ends needed. Weightless hydration with a fresh perfume-y smell. Love it.

STYLER 5: Black Seed Dry Oil, £11.83
THE VERDICT: 8/10
Ah, the star ingredient to this whole range - black seed oil. I've been reading up on it, and it's been linked to some hefty claims - from helping eczema flare-ups to improving heart health. I can't verify any of these, but the reason this oil is the key to this whole hair range is because when applied to hair, it can strengthen it, nourish it and even make it grow quicker. I haven't used it for long enough to see long-term results but every time I do use it, it makes my ends neater, shinier and my hair just feels a little bit healthier. I only add a drop or two of this onto my palms before I run it through my lengths, and it looks amazing dry - BUT again, the whole fine hair thing, it makes my hair a lot greasier the next day. But it's okay, it just means I have to wash it a little more.

Over-all, a really good, consistent first hair range from the girls, and I really enjoyed trying them all. I would say a lot of these are suited for people with thicker, frizzier hair types - and also hair that might not need washing so much. It's exclusive to Cloud10, so you can pick up any of the products I've mentioned (and more!) here.

Give it a go and let me know what you think!x
