I've been to Paris a few times now but it never stops enchanting me. With its sunny streets, little coffee shops jutting out of every corner, and those miniature pastries they serve with your drinks. I love it there, and whenever I get the chance to go, I pack up these essentials, because they are my ultimate city break go-tos.
I was lucky enough to stay at the gorgeous Hotel Vernet, which is right off the avenue of the Champs-Élysées, so it was easy to run out and have a look at some of Paris' sights in my free time (I was there with Lacoste on a fragrance trip - but more to come on that one later!). So in honour of this charming city, I've done a round-up of what I took and why - my tried and tested minis that keep me going on short stays.

Dolce & Gabbana The Blush in Bacio
I love blusher, and I'm a massive hoarder of all different shades and styles, but this is my 'one'. It's from D&G's new Rosa SS16 collection and it is SO pigmented, and the shade is lovely and deep. The brush applicator is actually useable, unlike to many others with those horrible pouffs. A good travel size and will make you look like you've had your eight hours of sleep - even if you're jet-lagged! (£33 and out this month.)
Balenciaga B.
I've raved about this before (read my full review here) and I still love it. If I'm picking a perfume off my shelf to take away with me, it's usually this one. I adore the smell, it looks pretty and it isn't chunky. B.eautiful. (£67, available now.)
Kerastase Elixir Ultime

Have I mentioned before that I have fine hair? Oh maybe once or twice. BUT seriously, oils on fine hair are usually a no-go but I am sooo all over this one. It's lightweight, smells great and just makes my hair feel light and swishy. It doesn't leave an oily residue, it doesn't make my hair feel dirty - it's just perfect. I actually look forward to going away just so I can use this! The mini size makes it perfect for travelling because it's airport-allowed and you don't have to carry a full sized with you when you may only need it once or twice. Really, pick one up and if you hate it I will personally refund you the price (I am that confident). £13 here.

The other two in this shot are the new YSL Touche Eclat Foundation (amazing, I will do a full review very soon) and the Pearl Drops overnight treatment serum (again, will cover this in more detail later because I have lots to say on teeth whitening). Also, a special shoutout to this gorgeous Lotions & Potions bag from Anya Hindmarch. I really adore it - there's a waiting list for it, and I think it's around £150 but it's the perfect weekend holder (join the list here!).

Have you got any travel favourites? I'd love to know what you use. x
