VALENTINE'S WEEKEND LUST LIST: WHAT I'M WEARING

Hello beauties! Are we all ready for v-day weekend? Even if you don't give a monkey's about it, a slogan sweater, some bargain sunglasses and a magical new highlighter - well, no girl can say no to that!
I've already mentioned that I don't love V-Day but I do enjoy all the hype around it - the hearts, the makeup collections and all the red roses (because they are my favourites). Whether you're going out tomorrow or just staying tucked up indoors, have a look at these fun weekend finds, because I'm a little bit in love with them...

1) TORTOISESHELL SUNGLASSES
I picked these up from Primark, and guess what? They're £3 and come with a little bag! I'm so amazed by how cheap they are considering the quality; they give you UV protection, and I've had them in my bag for a few days without them scratching even a little bit. My favourite buy for all that Spring sunshine I'm praying for.

2) LET'S GET NAKED CARD
I'm not one for loving cards (last year I got my boyfriend a plain one that just said 'you're getting old motherf*cker'), and this one is my kind of humour. I was sent this one (thank you Urban Decay!) but you can pick up a last minute one from the seriously funny selection at Scribbler - the kings of sarcastic cards.

3. I DON'T NEED A VALENTINE I NEED VALENTINO SLOGAN SWEATER
YES, I love this, my new favourite comfy sweater. It's from Inthestyle, and I actually think they've sold out of this particular style, but they do still have some really funny ones, like 'V is for vodka' and  'Sorry I'm late I didn't want to come' (£19.99).  I'll be wearing mine all winter.

4. CLARINS INSTANT LIGHT LIP PERFECTOR
I used this for my Spring get-the-look (here), and I really can't say how much I adore these balms. They make your lips look so flawless but with a subtle hint of colour. They launched the other year but two new shades have just arrived (YAY) and the one here is Rose Shimmer and it's soo perfect for a date night. It won't smudge and it leaves your lips nice and soft. £18 each here.

5. BURBERRY FRESH GLOW LUMINOUS FLUID BASE
They say this is a good base before foundation, because it illuminates your skin. It is, but for me, the look is a little too intense, so I apply my foundation then dot and blend this over my cheekbones as a highlighter. It gives such a pretty effect. One of my favourites at the moment - and they do a darker version for darker skin tones, or if you just want a more bronzed glow. £34 here.

Enjoy your weekend of romance everyone - even if it is with Ben and his gorgeous friend Jerry xx

Oh, and special thanks to the girls over at Urban Decay for this amazing chocolatey gift - they actually made up an edible naked palette for Valentine's - complete with all their famous Naked shades. Love.
