ANTIGUA DIARIES 3: THE BEST HOLIDAY NAIL SHADE AND A SERIOUSLY FUNNY READ

IT'S STOPPED RAINING. Just kidding, it really hasn't. But we did have a couple of hours of sunshine today so it's all good.
I'm not sure how it's happened either, but I think I've got a rain burn. Yep, I am so pale, I have been burnt through the rain. But despite all that, I've discovered a really amazing waterfall pool, and it's the perfect place to sit and read.

I love books, and I'm not talking about a Kindle or an iPad, I mean an actual paper book you can flick through and turn pages. Nothing says a holiday to me than a water-soaked, wrinkled book. The one I'm reading at the moment is one of my favourite reads ever - it's called The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k by Sarah Knight.
So if, like me, you worry all the time about what people think of you, and you just go through life blindly saying yes, so as not to offend anyone - you might need this, too.
It's all about mentally organising everything you do and don't care about, making room for the things you want to do, getting rid of the expectations to do all the other things that you quite literally do not give a f*ck about - and the best part, it teaches you how to do it without coming across like a bit of an ass.

I haven't finished it, but I feel SO much more liberated (and seriously, I'm not into any of this self-help stuff). If nothing else, it's a hilarious read and Sarah writes so brilliantly.
The other thing I've discovered today is the BEST new nail shade. I love pinks and nudes and I brought one of the spring colours from Butter London away with me, and it's the perfect mix of a nude and a coral. Like a bright nude. It's tan enhancing, looks glossy and has lasted me 5 days and counting! This one's called 'Brill' from the Patent Shine collection, but if you have a look here, the whole SS16 range is gorgeous.

Oh, and if you're wondering where the dress from the pictures is from, I got it last summer from Zara for something silly like £12. I think it's still around, so if you want to pick one up, have a look in your local shop.

Sleep well beauties! I'm so ready to snuggle under these comfy sheets x
