THE PRETTIEST NEW SMITH & CULT LIP LACQUERS

I'm taking a break from matte lips and welcoming these new glossy shades from the seriously trendy American brand, Smith & Cult.
There's around 10 different colours in the Shining Lip Lacquer range, and I've chosen my favourite three. I meant to do swatches of them all on my lips, but I had to run for a flight - no, actually, I really did. I'm in Palma this week working on location so I shot these glosses quickly before I left. If you want to see what they look like on, then comment below and I'll put them all up on my Instagram this weekend.
If not, then just have a nosey at these three deliciously summery shades.

SMITH AND CULT SHINING LIP LACQUER // THE QUEEN IS DEAD // £21

I know that paying £21 for a lip gloss seems a little excessive, and to be honest, it really is. But the brand is just so luxurious - from the glass and gold packaging, to the finish of the lip lacquers. They really are in a league of their own. This shade is like a deep plummy red, and tints your lips to make them a flattering berry red.

SMITH AND CULT SHINING LIP LACQUER //  FADE THE SUN // £21

Another thing you might like about these glosses is that they're vegan, gluten free and paraben free, so if you're trying to be a little more conscious about your make-up choices, these are for you. This colour-pop tangerine shade just looks so amazing with a tan. I wore it all weekend when it was sunny and I had a couple of comments from friends on the faded orange colour against my skin.

SMITH AND CULT SHINING LIP LACQUER //  HI-SPEED SONNET // £21

I often stay away from pink glosses, because with my hair, I feel too girly girly. I had no problems with this one though - it was really pretty. I think perhaps because it was a warm pink, as opposed to a bright or fuchsia one. The formula isn't shimmery either - and I've been wearing them all for the past week, and I can't tell you how much softer my lips feel now. All the shades have coconut essence in them, so they're seriously nourishing.
