THE NEW DOLCE & GABBANA A/W COLLECTION

I'm not wishing summer away or anything, but I've just been given a quick look at the new collection coming out from D&G beauty, and it is just so beautiful.
I'll find out the dates and prices for you nearer to the launch time, which I'm guessing is around September as it'll all be in their AW16/17 range, but for now, I've taken a few snaps of some of my favourite things, just so you have a heads up on all the beautiful gold-tinted joys to look forward to.

I've got two nail shades, a lip gloss, a mascara and an eyeshadow quad here, and I would wear all of these. At once. The colours are just so rich and pigmented, and really flattering.

This quad is going to be my every-day eye palette in September, because the shades are just so earthy and pretty. I love the copper mixed in with the brown in the crease. They transfer really well onto your lids as well - the colours aren't weak at all.

JUST LOOK AT THAT KHAKI.

The nail lacquers are just as beautiful too. I've got the mauvy plum shade and the deep forest green. I can't actually find their shade names but I'll add it onto their caption when I hunt them down. They are so thick and glossy, and give you a gel-like finish. The colours aren't summery, but pair them with an oversized jumper and some knee-high boots in Autumn and you'll kill it.

Now, THS, beauty is going straight to the top of my favourite mascaras list. It's the duo waterproof curl and volume mascara in black. I think this is so much better than some others, because if you look at the brush, it's got a curve to it, so when you lift it up through your lashes, it forces them to bend - making them look more fluttery and long. Even though it's a waterproof, it's pretty easy to get off. I use an oil cleanser though so that probably helped.

Finally, the gloss. I saw this through the tube and I was like 'nope'. Who wants shimmery gold lips? But I tried it anyway and I was so surprised, because it doesn't really come out gold on the lips, more like a pearly sheen. It makes them look so plumped, and really healthy. It just brought out their natural tint - and if you match it with the golds and browns from the eyeshadow quad, they pair perfectly together.

Here's the finished look, using all of the makeup-up bits. What do you think? Will you be picking anything up from D&G's AW16 collection?

xx
