Lottie London Strobe Stix review & swatches

It's no secret, I LOVE a good highlighter. If I could take only three beauty products away with me, highlighter would be in there. It changes your face so much, and even if you're having a pretty bad skin day, it brightens everything up.
These two new sticks from Lottie London are cute, easy to use and a MASSIVE bargain at £6 each (yaaaas). They have a super creamy formula, and you can just pop one in your handbag and swipe it on during the day.

// MY THOUGHTS //

My favourite highlighter of all time is the Hourglass ambient lighting one. It's a powder and I've used it so much it's almost finished (SOB) - but it also costs around £40. So I've been on the lookout for a decent new alternative. These ones from Lottie are cheap and I'm so surprised by how nice they are. They aren't too shimmery, which is good because no one wants a glittery face - well you might, but I'd rather not.

Left to right: Spotlight and Starstruck
The two shades are really quite similar but Starstruck is more of a deeper, champagne colour, while Spotlight is lighter and cooler. I personally find that Starstruck suits my skin better, because I'm warm skin-toned, but you might find if you have cool skin then the lighter shade may suit you better.

I honestly recommend giving them a go, especially if you're new to the highlighter concept, because they are just so easy to apply and blend. I use a buffing brush to blend the product out over my cheekbones, but you can just swipe it on and pat it out with your fingers if you prefer.

Find them here on Asos.

Summer may be over, but who doesn't want glowing winter skin?!
