My Nuxe Prodigieux skincare favourites - all for £18!

I meant to do a post about these four Nuxe products before Christmas, because they were packaged up into a really cute giftset, but I was too busy stuffing my face with mince pies, so..ya'know.
But actually, it's worked out pretty well because the set has gone down in price now because all of the January sales, so if you like the look of these then you can pick them all up as 100ml's for £18 instead of £30 here. YAS.

Right, back to it. I LOVE the Nuxe dry oil, and for the past few years it has been my summer holiday staple, but this year I started using it in winter and my skin has felt so much less dry than it was last year. So, I rediscovered Nuxe in the form of this little giftset, and it reminded me of how much I love the brand.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil

Nuxe Prodigieuse dry oil review

Like I said, I adore this oil. Usually oils, even dry ones, can leave an annoying residue on your skin that sort of sticks to clothes and makes you feel a little grubby. But this doesn't - it sinks in really quickly without leaving an oily film. I would recommend you wash your hands after using it, because they can get a little bit more oily, but for legs and arms - it's residue-free.
I like that it has a subtle fragrance as well, which isn't too perfumey. It has a lot of sweet almond oil and seed oils in it, so it's a very natural smell.
My favourite time to use this is just after I've shaved my legs, and they never get dry.

Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil

I am such a hoarder of shower creams. Seriously, I love them. I'd say this one is a firm top 5 favourite of mine. It's probably not very cost effective to use it every day, but when I do, I wish I could smell like I do after the shower, all the time!
It's got a gel-like consistency, so it's not got the runniness of a standard shower oil. The best part is it has a golden shimmer mixed into the gel so when you use it, you come out with a slightly glowy look. The smell of it is almost the same as the dry oil, but a little more intense - still of oils and slightly vanilla notes.

Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse anti-stress face cream

Nuxe creme prodigieuse hydratant review

I haven't been using this one for too long, because I'm quite new to Nuxe's face care range, but so far so good. It's meant to protect your skin from oxidative stress (when your skin can't balance harmful pollutants or free radicals), and give it a proper whack of hydration.
It's thick in texture, thicker than the moisturisers I usually use, but it's not greasy at all. It also sinks in, leaving a surprisingly matte finish. I've read some reviews online about this and people are saying it makes a really good primer for this reason - which I can totally agree with.
I really like it, especially for winter when my skin needs the benefit of oils like sweet almond and vitamin E.

Nuxe Prodigieux gift set review

If you buy them as a set, like I mentioned earlier, you even get a little candle thrown in for freeeeee. Love candles. Love Nuxe. Love all of this.

Have a lovely weekend beauties!
