My photo guide to Chamonix, France

It feels like I've been away for ages, but it's only a week. I couldn't wait to get back and share all my holiday snaps with you all - and believe me, there's quite a few!
I did share quite a lot of content on my Insta stories during the week, but because I got a little snap-happy with my camera (who can blame me when the views were so stunning?!), there's heaps more that I haven't posted yet. So, instead of doing my traditional 'where to go, what to see' travel guide, I'll be doing this one through pictures. As a huge fan of picture books, this excites me.

For anyone that doesn't follow me on Instagram (you should - I swear I'm lots of fun), then I'll explain a little. I headed off to the glorious French alpine town called Chamonix last week for sunshine, snowboarding and yes, eating. I wandered around the streets of the local town, drank coffee while reading guidebooks and even took some trips out into the wilderness. It was the perfect holiday, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone wanting a good mix of outdoor activities and leisure.

So, if you're planning on heading to Chamonix or even the French Alps at some point then feel free to ping me over any unanswered questions below, and I'll get back to you with a few more details.

The scenery

Views from the Montenvers glacier (the coffee up there was amazing!)
Strolling through one of the hiking trails on the outskirts of Chamonix
The cafe at the top of Montenvers is well worth a visit

The food and drink

Coffee mornings in the sun were my favourite parts of the day

The skiing/snowboarding

My favourite ski resort is called Les Houches & has a great range of slopes for all abilities

The town

If you go, make sure you sit outside of the pink buildings in town with a coffee and a pastry

How adorable is my baby niece?!
